The electoral program of the Iraq Azm Alliance (Azm)

The Iraq Azm Alliance (Azm) seeks to implement a national cross-sectarian platform to get rid of quotas and enhance the civil and democratic character of the state and to form a national parliament whose members enjoy integrity and competence, so that the council can perform its effective oversight role. This program also seeks to build the country and advance the economic and social reality For the citizen through his commitment to clearly achieve what he aims at and bearing moral and legal responsibility in front of his supporters and supporters and in front of everyone who gave him confidence despite the difficulties and challenges facing his work.

The Iraq Azm Alliance (Azm) also seeks, through its participation in the Iraqi Parliament elections 2021 for the sake of Iraq’s unity, reconstruction and the well-being of its honorable people, to implement its national project and electoral program, which is based on the following axes:

1. Reconstruction of the liberated areas and compensation for those affected by military operations and victims of terrorism.

2. Creating the appropriate conditions for the return of the displaced to their areas, a voluntary and dignified return.

3. Take serious steps to reveal the fate of the disappeared and the kidnapped.

4. Release all innocent detainees

5. Executing the demands of the young demonstrators from the sons of the October Revolution, dealing with their honorable families like the families of the martyrs in accordance with the laws, treating the injured among them and compensating them, and ensuring serious judicial prosecution of the perpetrators of the violations that engulfed the October Revolution.

6. Eliminating all armed manifestations and limiting arms to the hands of the state.

7. Fighting corruption and the corrupt, enacting the necessary laws to eradicate corruption and activating the supervisory role in state institutions.

8. Activating an effective professional program in order to reduce the phenomenon of poverty.

9. Eliminating unemployment by activating the private sector and investment.

10. Work to support the health sector in Iraq by increasing government spending to enable health institutions to provide the best services to citizens.

11. Working to support the education sectors by increasing government spending.

12. Working to support the agricultural sector through government support for peasants and farmers and encouraging reverse migration.

13. The establishment of a civil state under the rule of law and based on citizenship.

14. Develop a plan to combat terrorism and extremism, based on a set of political, security, economic, social and cultural reforms.

15. Solve the problems between the center and the Kurdistan Region on the basis of the constitution and the laws in force in a way that enhances national unity.

16. Reforming the Iraqi legislative system, by amending the legislative texts that require repeal and amending what requires amendment, and issuing new legislation to ensure the achievement of reforms in various fields, foremost among which is the amendment of the constitution, especially the amendment of vague and controversial constitutional texts, in a manner that ensures Iraq’s respect for its international obligations Especially international obligations relating to human rights.

17. Ensuring the rights of minorities in accordance with the constitution and in a manner that guarantees freedom of religious beliefs and the participation of all minorities in political and social life.

18. Protecting national cohesion on the basis of a unified federal Iraq with its various nationalities and minorities and ensuring civil peace.

19. Supporting the electoral system to ensure fair and free elections and the enactment of a fair electoral law that allows broad participation and true representation of the will of the honorable Iraqi people.

20. Ensuring the independence of the judiciary and activating the role of the public prosecution

21. Adopting standards of efficiency and integrity in the field of state administration, activating the civil service law, and adopting e-governance

22. Activating the Social Security Law to achieve social justice.

23. Ensuring women's rights and expanding their participation in public life, to ensure their effective participation in the economic, social and political fields.

24. Legislate laws relating to the rights, protection and care of the child and provide appropriate conditions for the development of his abilities and skills and protect him from violence.
